The official iPhone 7 is almost here in the Philippines and everyone is planning to have the latest smartphone from Apple. But do we really need to have the latest iPhone?
It doesn’t matter if the headphone jack is removed or there’s a new dual camera set up. We’re still going to love it. Back when the first Macintosh was released in 1984, it changed the entire tech industry. As the first popular computer built for everyone, it was an important day for the whole world. But nowadays, a lot of people already own an amazing device albeit a smartphone, tablet or laptop.
Before you swipe that card of yours so that you’ll have the newest iPhone. Take a look at your current iPhone first, remember how happy you were when you got it? Isn’t it still just as great? A lot of Apple executives have convinced you that the phone you’re holding is outdated. They’ll tell you that the newest wireless AirPods are unlike anything you’ve ever seen, and the improved camera found on the Plus can be compared to a professional DSLR.
But that isn’t the phone you’re currently holding now. Compared to your current device, it’ll be a little bit faster and boasts a few cool, new tricks. But it probably won’t change your life or how you look at a smartphone.
But think about it first. It’s important to take a step back and internalize about the devices that you already own. Do they not already fit your current needs? Do you really need that faster phone?
If you do make that decision of buying the latest iPhone when it gets here in The Philippines, make sure to sell your old one. It’s the least you can do. Are you embracing the hunger of getting the latest smartphone? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
