The Rock Celebrates Easter in a Pikachu Costume

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson decided to transform himself into the popular Pokemon Pikachu for Easter Sunday. He says Pikachu is his one-year-old daughter Jasmine’s favorite character and felt like it was only right that he dress up as this.

His daughter was so amused by the transformation and invited “Rokachu” to a game of tag. But this tag isn’t your ordinary chase. Jazzy is well-equipped to run for a good 2 hours and even told Pikachu not to take a break until she gets tired and eventually falls asleep.

In the video, we see him chasing the cute little Jasmine before he takes off the costume’s head takes a slight breather. The Rock, despite being tired beyond words because you know it’s feels like hellfire in that suit and his dog keeps thinking his leg is a bathroom, tells the world that these are the moments he absolutely loves.

The first time Jasmine’s favorite character, Pikachu came to visit her months ago she was only crawling. For Easter Sunday @laurenhashianofficial and I thought, Pikachu should make a special visit once again. Well, Pikachu didn’t account for the fact that now Jazzy RUNS and for 2hrs straight she wants to play her new favorite game, “I run away and you chase me Pikachu. And you’re not allowed to take a break until I go night night”. At the end of the vid you can hear her yell, “Peekyu” because she can’t say, Pikachu. I’m tired, today’s my only day off, it’s 118 degrees in this costume and Hobbs keep trying to p*ss on my leg. And I luv every minute of it. Bring it on. It’s what daddy’s do. Happy Easter to you guys and enjoy your families. #Rockachu #DaddyPuttinInWork #TheGameThatNeverEnds #PikachuLooksBloated

That’s one unique way to welcome Easter! How did you celebrate yours?

Loves the sunrise but wakes up late. Also uses too many adjectives.
