(Potter)heads up! Bloomsbury has just announced that they will be releasing two new Harry Potter books this 2017. Both Harry Potter: A History of Magic — The Book of the Exhibition and Harry Potter — A Journey Through a History of Magic will not continue the story of the legendary trio but they will give in depth explanations on the history of the whole wizarding world and the classes Harry took when he was in Hogwarts, as reported by HelloGiggles.
The release is in honor of the 20th anniversary of the first Harry Potter book: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. In line with this release is the British Library’s exhibition on October 20, 2017 called “Harry Potter: A History of Magic.” This exhibition will feature actual material from J.K. Rowling’s own archive.

Harry Potter: A History of Magic – The Book of the Exhibition will give you information on ancient witchcraft and alchemy, and how the whole wizarding world came to be. Harry Potter – A Journey Through a History of Magic is a book about all the wizardry and witchcraft classes Harry, Ron, and Hermione took during their time in Hogwarts. We can finally know what’s really going on in that curious Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
The Harry Potter: A History of Magic exhibition will be at the British Library in London starting from October 20, 2017 to February 28, 2018.
