Pink Sugar, a Filipino makeup brand, just released their newest Eye Candy Eyeshadow Quad a few weeks ago and it might have taken me a long while to get my hands on them, but I’m glad I didn’t pass on this. Because of my strange affinity for larger, 12 to 16-pan eyeshadow palettes, I didn’t have a single quad I could use for everyday. I couldn’t even find a black single shadow I could fit inside my customizable palette.

Since Pink Sugar just came up with their newest quad, I figured it would be a great idea to get one. It’s cheap, cruelty-free, and versatile – perfect for work during the day and spontaneous events at night.

The Pink Sugar Eyeshadow Quads come in 3 shades – Cotton Candy (neutrals, pink, purple), Cafe Latte (browns), and Tiramisu, which is the one I got. For the quads, I noticed that the first two shadows were the same in all the palettes.

The Pink Sugar Eyeshadow Quad in Tiramisu is a very compact eyeshadow palette perfect for travel. The quad also comes with a double-ended foam applicator. Thankfully, it’s not those frail looking ones that start breaking apart after two uses. The applicator isn’t a sponge type, it’s a more dense foam material. It’s not anything special though for me to ditch my makeup brushes.

I’m also very impressed it came with a good-sized mirror! Most quads nowadays don’t bother putting a mirror for reasons I can’t quite understand.

I purchased this quad because of all my eyeshadow palettes, I didn’t have one with a matte black shade. The darkest shade in this palette is a true black but it also isn’t completely matte. It has little flecks of glitter but it also doesn’t qualify as a shimmer. I also found that the black shadow was less consistent in pigmentation than the other shades.

The second shade is a deeper brown, also the same finish as the black one – mostly matte but with little amounts of shimmer. This one’s a great outer corner and all-over-the-lid shade. It’s not too shimmery so, yes, you can use this for contouring too!

The third one is a simple tan shade with the same finish as the first two.

And the lightest shade in the palette is a cream frosted shadow that is ultra reflective so it’s great for highlighting the inner corners and even the cheeks!

The shadows are a lot pigmented at first application but they can be a bit difficult to blend, especially with eyeshadow primer on. Before you apply these on, always set your primer with nude powder shadow. These are very buildable shadows though making them great products for a day-to-night transformation.

The Pink Sugar Eye Candy Eyeshadow Quad’s main ingredient is Talc, which means the product can be a little too powdery for you or can result to a lot of fall out. In this case, do your eyes first before your face makeup or have a fan brush handy all the time.
