iOS 11 is here. And it has come bearing gifts for your Apple devices. There’s a whole list of awesome features, but among our favorites are the new Files app, a revamped Control Center, and of course, the GIF creation tool via Live Photos (long overdue).
On this post, we’ll teach you how to download iOS 11 and update your iPhone and iPad’s software. But first, a little housekeeping…
Before you download the iOS 11 update, make sure you have the following things in-check.
You must have enough juice. The download will not start if your device isn’t charged and doesn’t have enough battery.
So juice up, Forrest.
Unless you’re not a lowly grepa like this writer, connect to a Wi-Fi network. The download file is simply too large to download using your mobile network.
I’d rather you spend your mobile data on Netflix or YouTube because I love you.
You need at least 2GB of free space on your device.
You can offload some of your snaps on Google Photos and your snaps on iCloud or your cloud storage app of choice.
