We’ve been hearing about Pixar’s next movie for a couple of months now, but yesterday we finally got a good look to their next movie. It’s dubbed as Coco and it’s about a boy, a magic guitar, and the Land of the Dead. And did we mention that it’s really a sight to see? Because it really is.
The movie is directed by Toy Story 3’s director Lee Unkrich. Coco follows the story of Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), a young boy entranced by the music of deceased guitar player Ernesto de la Cruz (Benjamin Bratt). But when Miguel breaks into de la Cruz’s tomb to see the legendary guiter, he finds himself inadvertently transported to the Land of the Dead. And with that, he has to find a way out if he wants to return to his family in the realm of the living.
Coco is set to hit theaters November 22.
