Cine Lokal: 4 Filipino Indie Films You Can Watch This June

Watch These Filipino Indie Films For Only P120!

Indies for 120 pesos a pop!

Cine Lokal has announced its June lineup. To those uninitiated, Cine Lokal is the brainchild initiative of FDCP and SM Cinemas which hosts screenings of local independent films across major SM cinemas. This is done as a way of highlighting Filipino indie films of recent past. Admission is also deliberately cut half—each ticket costs 120 pesos!—which makes it an appealing buy for everyone.

Here are the four films you can watch this month.

Director: Prime Cruz
Screening Dates: June 2 to 8

Director: Louie Reyes
Screening Dates: June 9 to 15

Ang Huling Cha-Cha Ni Anita

Director: Sigrid Andrea Bernardo
Screening Dates: June 16 to 22

Slumber Party

Director: Emman Dela Cruz
Screening Dates: June 23 to 29

If you’re only watching one endearing film about a friendship that blossomed in the cutthroat industry of call-center, make it Prime Cruz’s Sleepless and one equally as endearing film about a young woman discovering herself through chaste admiration, make it Sigrid Andrea Bernardo’s Ang Huling Cha-Cha Ni Anita.

The films screen on the following times: 1:00 p.m., 3:30p.m., 6:00 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. The films screen on the following SM Cinema branches: SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Fairview, SM Iloilo, SM Southmall, SM Cebu, SM Bacoor, and SM Mall Of Asia.
